Our mission is to provide a unified voice and support for Paterson's charter community to ensure that every Paterson student has access to high-quality, tuition-free, public education.
Our vision is the realization of a network of charter schools and parent advocates that collaboratively enhance the educational opportunities of Paterson students. Throughout this process, informed, engaged, and inspired school leaders, educators, and parents/guardians will collectively and continuously play critical roles in fostering creativity, innovation, character development, academic achievement, and real-world practice.
College Achieve Paterson Charter School will prepare its students to excel and graduate from the top colleges and universities in the nation. We - the parents, teachers, and administrators - pledge to achieve this mission by discovering and developing each child's gifts and talents. We believe a college education is this century's passport to the American Dream, and we are determined to offer our students every opportunity to achieve it. Every College Achieve Central Charter School student will be prepared to excel and graduate from the top colleges and universities in the nation.
The mission of the Community Charter School of Paterson is to inspire and empower its children, families and staff with opportunities to positively shape and transform their lives by becoming successful, life-long learners who possess critical thinking, academic, advocacy, and leadership skills required to open new doors in their lives and the lives of others. Children will be inspired and empowered as a result of specific strategies which encourage them to feel good about themselves and their ability to learn.
The mission of the school identifies six characteristics that are important in life, not just in school. These are excellence, integrity, dedication, respect & self-esteem, success, and partnerships.
The mission of John P. Holland Charter School is to promote student achievement and learning through a rich educational program. Our program prepares students both academically and civically for participation in the world around them. We focus on individualized learning, creative teaching techniques, a strong applied arts program, character education, and community service and involvement.
We place an emphasis on the use of technology by both teachers and students within and outside of the classroom, the innovative use of the environment surrounding the school, and a close connection with the community and parents. Our philosophy and educational approach closes the education gap that thwarts the potential of many youth who live in urban communities.
